Camera shy…

Time spent with a cat is never wasted.

I’m always admiring – and let’s be honest, a little bit jealous too – of all those people who seem to be able to take a photo or make a video every time their pets do something funny. To me, it’s more like, er… mission: impossible. And it really is. Impossible, I mean.

It’s not that I would like to upload such videos on the internet, share them with thousands of people, see them go viral and make money… No, I’d just like to have more than the memories of the funny/loving moments shared with my babies. That’s all.

What happens when I have my cellphone on hands (I don’t always have it, much less my camera): the one being funny/cute 1) stops to get a closer look at the camera – and all I have on the screen is something like the reflection of a cat on a Christmas bauble; 2) runs to me – resulting in some blurry blob that vaguely looks like a cat if you squint; 3) stops to turn their back to me or hung their head… *sigh*

Now that I think about it, holding a cellphone or a camera make them stop whatever they are doing. Interesting…

But I’m digressing.

I have to admit I have a lot of pictures and a few videos, but not every one of the pics or vids that I would have like to have. So, I don’t know, either I’m very bad at taking pictures/making videos, or I have the most camera shy cats in the whole universe. *shrug* Oh well, they are the ones I love. Who needs to share the good times with a camera, anyway? 😛
